I tried running SoftSqueeze on my Linux client (Netscape 3.0.8) with Squeezebox Server running on a Mac (OS X 10.4.x, server 7.4.1), but it's not working:
1. In the Web UI home page, click the "CommunitySoftSqueeze" link under Extras. 2. The "SoftSqueeze using Java Web Start" panel appears, showing that I do have Java installed (big red checkmark), followed by a link to "Click to install and run SoftSqueeze". I click it. 3. The Netscape downloads window appears, showing that "softsqueeze.jnlp" has been downloaded. 4. Two windows appear: the "Java Cache Viewer" displaying the Resources tab, and the "Java Control Panel" displaying the General tab. That's it. I close the two windows. Any ideas what is wrong?
