SqueezeIR can't handle these, instead it mimics pressing the button very quickly. You could try reducing the gap parameter in the LIRC file to 10000 or even 5000 to speed it up a bit.

I don't think that's going to work as it is the controller that sends the IR codes, not the receiver. So you would have to be standing in front of the amp when the box starts playing.
