Peter,

I'm trying to do some testing here, but am a bit confused.

I've been struggling with just trying to get a playlist to play via
kidsplay macro and not had success (never tried the 'playlist play'
syntax with the prior version).

I've got a couple of itunes playlists that show up at the SBS web GUI
and play fine on the Radio if requested from there. I could not
originally get them to play after connecting to the server CLI and using
playlist play <playlistname>, but I finally figured out (I think) that I
had to resave them at the GUI to make them accessible that way due to
some glitch in the way itunes playlist integration works. Once I did
the resave (wish SBS would just resave the itunes playlists
automatically after every itunes rescan) then I could play them directly
from the CLI using playlist play <playlistname>.

The same exact command doesn't seem to work from kidsplay, though. I
know the macro is getting executing because the display text is showing
up at the Radio, but the playlist shows as empty. This behavior is the
same whether I try defining the operation from a player specific macro
or from a global macro.

Interestingly (at least to me), when I do a 'playlist play
<playlistname>' directly at the CLI, the CLI itself seems to add the
default playlist directory for SBS to the front of the playlistname when
it responds (and the playlist starts playing at the Radio).

Any clue about what's going on?

Marc
