Thanks for your reply and for reminding me to enter my system info. gentoo linux SBS 7.4.1 - r28947 Installed PlayReal by adding http://bpaplugins.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/repo.xml at the bottom of the Plug-In tab and enabling PlayReal (with AlienBBC disabled). No RealAudio stream works. I tried maybe five. I've waited up to about one minute or two. I checked with 'ps ax | grep mplayer' to see if mplayer had started but it was never running. I tested mplayer on the CLI as mentioned in my first post, and it worked.
