Commenting out that big block of code was just a quick hack to temporarily "resolve" the problem. I've traced the problem down further to a single line that can be commented out, but the point is you shouldn't have to do this. I still haven't found the root cause though. I'd like to think this is something that can be fixed in my code, but I'm not sure that's the case. It may be an upstream bug, but I can't say for sure. If you upgraded you would have to do the same thing again. I'll follow-up with the one line fix, once I can make sure that indeed does it, but it's still a hack. As for the hand, I had a 3" pin pulled out of my finger on Sunday.
