I'm not sure how the BBCiPlayer logic works, but might it be better to switch AAC and WMA in the setup? - so "use Flash AAC" becomes "use WMA" and "prefer WMA" becomes "prefer Flash AAC". WMA seems to be a more reliable default stream as it synchronises better between Squeezebox devices, and is more widely used across the BBC stations (eg World Service). I guess its a trade-off between users that want a default that prioritises quality versus those that want reliability. In my family, it is a no-brainer - reliability (and simplicity) comes first, otherwise my toys end-up in the shed with me.
