Felix, thanks for your interest. I am not so sure now that the problem is with IR Blaster 5.6 on 7.3.4 (seven three four), because my upgrade of FindArt failed as well. I'd rather think something is wrong either with extension downloader, or somehow I messed my server. I think I remember using extension downloader on that server, on that machine, recently with no issues ? Currently IR Blaster 5.5 is running fine.
About the incident: - yes, all my conf files were gone, there was sonly slim.conf after the upgrade. - I copied my amps conf files to the directory, reloaded IR Blaster, restarted SC and finally rebooted an SB Classic, to no avail. The funny thing was: a. With the conf loaded, I could control an amp via the test buttons on the web interface b. Pressing on/off or vol up/down on the IR was not triggering IR Blaster. I haven't tried reinstalling the conf files somewhere and asking IR Blaster to look there. All files belong to squeezecenter:nogroup in there. If you want, I reinstall 5.6 and do the test (or another test you specify).
