It is not too dissimilar with Linux and the root account. MC: I would not turn UAC off, it is a last wall of defense. You would not run a linux box under the root user either. The reason the headless version of UAC does not see the default.m3lib is that it runs as a system service. Therefore, there is no way for it to determine which user has that default.m3lib installed.
