I tried all of the above with no success. I also tried uninstalling and
reinstalling 7.4.2 and rolling back to 7.4. With no success. 

Log shows [10-03-21 13:18:09.4814]
Slim::Utils::PluginDownloader::extract (81) unable to install
CustomBrowse - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Squeezebox\Cache\DownloadedPlugins\CustomBrowse.zip does not exist
(even after deleting the suggested files/folder, uninstalling and then
reinstalling squeeze server. I also tried downloading
CustomBrowse2.10.zip, renaming it CustomBrowse.zip in the directory
where log said it could not find it. 

Unless there are other suggestions it looks like I am out of luck for
now anyways. Perhaps I will better luck with 7.5.
