Thats not allowed due to license restrictions.
I'm only allowed to take the data from the XML for noncommercial
issues.
The terms and conditions of the website
(http://www.wunderground.com/members/tos.asp) prohibit the use of all
the other data within the applet.

But if we take the icon from the airport/city-feed, is it really worth
to take the temperature from a personal weather station ?
I guess we are talking here about difference of about 1°C ? Which could
be a real difference or just based on an uncalibrated personal
temperature sensors. And depending on the wind the temperature you
really feel outside will be different again.

I fail to see the real value add in supporting personal weather
stations ?
