Yes, but I also have a softsqueeze.exe along with it, and the desktop
shortcut points to that .exe file, not to the .jar file.

No, it's too small for that. I guess it is a stub that takes care of
launching the JRE and the .jar application with the correct parameters.
There is also a softsqueezeHeadless.exe which launches the same .jar
file without the UI.
