The OP was me and I was reporting about the "issues" I have with MusicIP. The fact that last.fm scrobbles were wrongly encoded was unknown to me at the time I wrote my first posting. I just realized it when I was told to make the filenames and directory names 7-bit safe and questioned the fact that then "everything is just fine".
