I'm running squeezeslave on a Linux PC (wired ethernet), specifying the
squeezebox server address on the command line. Does this then do same
discovery protocol as Duet/SB3 for connecting to the server, or does it
bypass this?
The reason for asking is that I have just re setup SBS on my NAS box,
but the SB3 and Duet cannot find it. The SB3 did find it ok for a
while, but I suspect this is only because it knew about it before (all
was working fine before I reformatted/reinstalled the NAS). Both Duet
and SB3 can connect to mysqueezebox.com and to a Squeezebox server
running on another PC. I've done a factory reet on the Duet, and even
tried manually adding the server by IP address.

Trying to work out why Duet/SB3 cannot find my server, yet
squeeezeslave connects fine - wondering if it is because the latter
does not do discovery, and/or because the Duet/SB3 are wireless and the
squeezeslave is wired.
Anyone shed any light, or suggest anything? Thanks.
