Hi, I am a new user on this forum.
I have build a Ubuntu 10.04 based Squeezebox system with Squeezebox Server and three instances of squeezeplayer for three rooms in my house. First I started using 3 separate sound cards in the machine. It worked ok but I had problems with synchronization between the. Then I tried an old Soundblaster PCI128 sound card I had laying. This card has dual stereo output each stereo output used with one instance of squeezeplayer. This solved the sync issues between the two of the squeezeplayers - perfect! Now I want to have my three instances of squeezeplayers in sync. For this I got a Soundblaster Audigy LS from a friend. This card has 3 stereo outputs and is working in Ubuntu with Rythmbox. But squeezeplayer can not find this as output device! Do any of you have experience with this Soundcard, or can you suggest a multiple output soundcard that works?
