With MusicIP you get a mix based on a "single" seed with SugarCube you
get a mix that is based on multiple seeds (the currently playing
track)

As far as I know, if SugarCube is enable it will add a new track at the
end of the playlist already in the Now Playing Panel based on the
currently playing track.

They're not "better" mixes they're different. Play around with the
setting a little bit until you get the kind of mood you want.
