No Worries! Maybe I exaggerated a little bit before. The only thing I can control with my Ipod Touch/Ipeng/Squeezebox are the Master Volume and the Power Switches (which are more just enough for me =). The IR commands are sent through the Squeezebox to the Receiver (and to an external IR controlled Power Switch for the DAC) through an (three headed)IR eye connected to the Squeezebox 3.5mm headphone connection to the two IR receivers (the receiver and the power switch). This is then controlled by Squeezecenter with the 3rd party application IRBlaster. When I turn on the Squeezebox, IRBlaster sends the Power on command to the IR receivers. It works similarly for Volume up/down and Power off. It doesent matter if I, for instance, change the volume through Ipeng or through the Squeezecenter directly. My setup is as follows: Hardware: Squeezebox Classic (Wifi to router) Nad S300 (Reciever) Cambridge Dacmagic (Digital-Analog-Converter) B&W 602 (Speakers) IR-eye ( http://www.ljudmakarn.se/view.asp?art_id=1018&menu=1 ) IR-controlled power switch for the DAC ( http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.12902 ) Ipod Touch (Remote control) Laptop - Server (wire to router) Laptop - Client (Wifi to router) Router - D-Link Software: Squeezecenter (latest?)
