That's in the next release. There will be a global setting (at the same level as <hotkey>) to set the default popup time and it can be overridden by a setting in the <event>. Of course, should the event take longer than the popup time to execute then the popup will remain open until the event is finished. The Extras menu has to be populated upon startup of the Controller from the Applet's meta file which happens before the Controller is connected to the server.
