OK I missed that detail--or actually didn't understand the need. XM only started charging for online service about a year ago. I used to listen online with XaMp Desktop (3rd part app for PC) but it just quit working one day & I couldn't find out why (poor support of the app, no communication from XM). With what I've learned the past 2 days I guess it quit when XM started requiring registering & money (change to my subscription) for the access. So anyways...Called CS to add the online service (couldn't find the clicky to add it, despite the instruction page (below)). Signed up at $2.99/mo for the ability to listen online OR my car (not both at same time) and now the plugin works. Also found out you don't need an XM radio to get the online service. I think it's $7.99/mo for online-only. Hope something here helps the next guy.
