Yes, it will just take longer, probably unacceptable long for people with 50000 track libraries. As I remember it took a few days for my 3000 track library when I analyzed them the first time before there was a central server.
I would be more worried that Microsoft did some API change that caused it to stop working on a new operating system version. And of course, make sure you keep the downloaded binaries because we never know when they will remove MusicIP from their download page. My experience trying to communicate with AMS (the new company which owns MusicIP) is that they really don't want to communicate with end users or even individual third party developers, they are only working in the business to business segment. IMHO, we really need to find a replacement to MusicIP because it's just a matter of time until something happens that will make it stop working. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info) (Install my plugins through Extension Downloader) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library, Title Switcher and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.isaksson.info/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79819 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
