First you will need to setup a shortcut inside E:\Music that points to E:\Audiobooks, this will make SBS scan your whole library and not just the E:\Music part. This is necessary because the Multi Library plugin cannot scan extra tracks it can just divide those already scanned into sub libraries.
After this it should be possible to use Multi Library to configure two libraries, one for E:\Music and one for E:\Audiobooks. The standard browse menus don't support the Multi Library library concept, so to be able to use the libraries you also need to have Custom Browse installed. If you are using a Classic/Boom/Transporter, you are lucky because then you can replace the standard "Genres" menu with a Custom Browse version what lets you select library before you select genres. If you are using a Duet/Radio/Touch you can't replace the standard genres menu so in this case you will need to configure a parallel menu which you use when you only want to select among genres in a specific library. If you are using a Touch/Radio/Duet and like to be able to replace standard menus, vote on this bug: http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=14971 The tricky part should be the Custom Browse configuration but fortunately there are several tutorials linked from the Custom Browse wiki page in the Installation section that should be some help: http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Custom_Browse_plugin -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info) (Install my plugins through Extension Downloader) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library, Title Switcher and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.isaksson.info/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=80133 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
