Does some tracks really appear more often ? Or is it just that you have more tracks of some artists and less tracks of other artists and due to this the common artist tracks is used more often than rare artists in random mixes ?
If the problem is that you have more tracks of some artists, you might want to try the Custom Skip plugin, it allows you to configure a skipping filter that will skip tracks from artists that has been recently played.
