Can't you just use the "Random Songs" template in SQL Playlist ? That
allows you to select:
- Genres to include
- Genres to exclude
- Limit the playlist to a specific library defined in Multi Library
plugin
If you aren't using Multi Library plugin today, I would recommend that
you use it to setup different libraries for wife and daughter. Use the
"Custom tag library" library template (provided by Custom Scan plugin)
when creating the libraries, it makes it possible to specify that a
library should contain songs where a specific custom tag has a specific
value. Another tip, if you don't need the library browsing menus, is
that you make sure all the "Included internal menus" and "Included
Custom Browse menus" checkboxes are unchecked in the library
configuration. This will improve the startup performance a bit since it
doesn't have to create a lot of browse menus.
