I don't want to hear the complaints when somebody's music stops because of my 
plugin. Plus it adds more complexity which requires development time I 
currently don't have.

That's a good idea. But again I don't have the time to add the code to support 
favorite folders. Plus this would potentially kill the server (not really, make 
eg. music temporarily stop) whenever you accessed a large folder.

It all could be done, even without the hiccups. It's software after all ;-). 
But it requires more time than I can afford right now. I'm sorry.
