I have two Windows 7 PCs (32 and 64 bits), and on both of them spotifyd crashes immediately, even before being able to start te logging session. On my XP machine the same fileset starts fine.
I isolated the problem by starting with a map with only spotifyd.exe in it. Then it complains about libspotify.dll missing. After adding libspotify.dll it complains about libFLAC.dll missing. After adding libFLAC.dll it crashes immediately. This is without a .conf file being there, so spotifyd crashes even before it looks for this file. I disabled all possible services that could interfere (esp. firewall and virus scanner), but nothing helped. Starting as Administrator didn't help either.
