How do you specify the "background" parameter ? It needs to be a url,
for example like this:

The Cassetta styles uses a background image so you can compare with
them.
If you don't get it to work, hit the "Export" button and post the
generated file here so some of us can take a look at it.
I assume you have been able to show your style on the Squeezebox ? And
selected it as the "off" screen saver ?
