Well I went to test confirm or deny your 30 second connect question and now I cannot replicate the issue. Typical! (like the knocking noise in your car that disappears when you take it to the mechanic). Nothing has changed, just decided to start working I guess. I can say though that when the issue was present the player was not showing in the multiplayer screen, only my local server and SN were shown as sources, no players.
