I'm all for the new icons as well... They make for a much cleaner interface in my book. I believe the contast in on and off states will already be addressed in the 1.2.5.1 release that's already in Apple's hands by now - maybe run the poll again once it has been released? ;-) It's hard to please everyone I guess, but as long as functionality is not compromised I fail to see why personal preferences (mine included) should matter.
