Is Album Review somehow caching also not found messages? Sometimes there are several entries with identical names on AMG, but only one entry actually contains a review.
I tried to get the review for Neil Young's 1979 Live Rust album and Album Review showed first the three entries that album has and I chose one, but it was empty. Then I tried the other two entries but the not found message appeared instantly for both entries, hence no review to be found although there of course is one on AMG (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:jpfqxqq5ldae). Another example where Album Review failed to find a review when there are multiple entries in AMG is this album: http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:gifrxq95ld6e.
