Sorry, a typo. I meant Squeezebox Server = SBS... Theoretically, the Content Directory and the "Play To" on Squeeze players could very easily be done remotely (via TCP). However, for playing on non Squeeze players, Whitebear needs direct access a) to the Squeeze transcoder applications and b) to the file system where the music library is actually located. This would require setting up a file share, with all the palaver of access rights and login's etc. It is not impossible, but not yet a high priority for me :-( -- AndrewFG Regards, AndrewFG http://www.whitebear.ch/mediaserver ------------------------------------------------------------------------ AndrewFG's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=15838 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=80632 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
