It looks like a bug in IRBlaster (or SC 7.5.1), but simple to workaround: When the player is ON it seems that for some reason the type of player is not detected correctly, making the settings page of IRBlaster inaccessible.
Solution: turn the player off, then go to the IRBlaster settings page for your player, change settings.
