Hi, I am having problems with this on an old AMD K6 II running debian lenny.
When I try to execute spotifyd, I get the following: -----------snip---------- [23:19:06.440327] main:325 InstalledPlugins/Plugins/Spotify/Bin/i386-linux/spotifyd 1.0.5 started [23:19:06.445648] main:345 Config: username: xxxxxx cachedir: /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/spotifycache bitrate: 320 httpport: 9001 cliport: 9090 Illegal instruction ------------snap-------------- I do not find the "Illegal instruction" message if I try to redirect the output to a log-file. I gather that this message actually points to an illegal opcode in the compiled binary. I have read somewhere that this plugin is intel only, but it seems that other people get it to run on AMD cpus also? My cpu: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AMD_K6-2 (guess it is time to upgrade...) best regards, Øyvin -- oyvine ------------------------------------------------------------------------ oyvine's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12176 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79706
