Radioshark feeds a WAV stream direct into SBS which then by default converts it into Flac to send to players.
Itt sounds like network interference and that coupled with need to encode the stream may result in rebuffering. Other possibility is that there is some other task on the server which uses a lot of CPU in small bursts.
