(8M 3G iPod Touch) Since updating iPeng, I noticed the battery life on my Touch was strangely short. I made sure that Preserve Connection was turned off. However, if iPeng is running and the iPod Touch goes to sleep, I can still ping the Touch and get a reply. If I close iPeng and the Touch goes to sleep I cannot ping it. It therefore appears that iPeng is keeping the WiFi up even during sleep and despite the Preserve Connection setting.
Is this a bug?
