Just for information to anyone interested in RSS image feeds. The latest
version of Custom Clock applet and Custom Clock Helper plugin now has
support for a new rssicon item type in their configuration. There is
also a "RSS Image Feed" style for Touch and Radio bundled which is
currently configured to show most interested Flickr images as a screen
saver.
As usual, you can of course combine the rssicon item with any other
items supported by Custom Clock to create your own customized screen
saver.
If you like to change the feed, you need to open the configuration in
Custom Clock Helper settings page in your Squeezebox Server and change
the "url" parameter to another RSS image feed.
The new version also supports a "rsstext" item which does the same
thing for text information in RSS feeds.
