I found it it, windows vista had hidden all the folders and files (stupid), and the windows firewall blocked the spotifyd.exe, without prompting. So I just made an exception for spotidyd.exe in windows firewall. I have norton firewall too, but it didn´t care. Now it works amazingly fast.
