Just thought I'd post to thank you for the development effort you have put into the spotify plugin for the sqeezebox. I have a squeezebox radio and an android phone; this setup including an x86 running windows and your plugin has changed the way I listen to music. The only thing I would like to be able to do is run this plugin on a NAS and do away with my PC tower but I understand Spotify are the one's holding the show up in that respect. I have logged my request for them to cross-compile the library and provide support for the ARM architechure which would cover a lot of low power embedded boards.
I am a software engineer and wouldn't mind having a nose around your code, do you have a public repository online? I am also interested in knowing if your code is compatible with the libopenspotify effort which was an attempt to create an opensource clone of the libspotify library. That would certainly make getting this plugin on the NAS platforms easier. -- jamesb ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jamesb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=41139 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79706 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
