e.g. http://open.spotify.com/album/7IEp2DUicr3uqt2BTEQfMX There are loads of studio albums that flow one track into another, in various genres, rock, electronic, DJ mix stuff. Just checked out The Avalanches, Since I Left You as Hobgoblin mentioned (sounds good, must give it a full listen!) and on the desktop player it has gaps on every track and the whole album flows as one by the sound of it. With the number of tracks it would get quite irritating with gaps. Anyway, if reports are that you're getting the streams gapless, then I could be tempted to go premium :).
