I downloaded and installed the app tonight. It was easy to setup and connected to my server very easily. I verified that it does play FLAC natively and gaplessly!! I'm very happy with the app. There is obviously still some work to be done, but in general it works well!!
Once it is streaming, it's stable. I found I had to start it playing from within the squeezecast app and then take over control via iPeng, otherwise the connection with the server would be lost. Not a big deal once you understand that. Once the stream is going, I can switch albums very easily. Pausing and resuming playback seems to loose the server connection too. What really impressed me was that while squeezecast was playing, it didn't skip a beat as I checked my email, facebook, and surfed the internet with safari.
