Excellent diagnosis of the problems. I am in no extreme hurry to get this fixed, I just wondered what the issue was. The pngs that customclock uses for backgrounds and other locations don't use the proxy. Since the remote library has to be hardwired in by ip address (grrr), I dont see the reason to use a proxy at all to be honest with you, but obviously I am missing something.
