Copying the plugin binaries (they are in /var/lib/ on kubuntu) to
subdirectory of home directory results in interesting result:

# ./spotifyd 
bash: ./spotifyd: No such file or directory
# file spotifyd
spotifyd: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV),
dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.15, not
stripped
# ls -l spotifyd
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 112035 2010-12-21 21:09 spotifyd
