Just to add to my previous posts - I can confirm that the latest Spotify plugin, v1.1.1, installs and works fine, out-of-the-box, on my DS411+ NAS after using SSODS (http://oinkzwurgl.org/ssods) to install SqueezeBoxServer 7.5.2.
The grief I was having earlier was due to my use of Synology's own packaging of 7.5.1 - which I removed, after breaking it completely! Thanks again to Triode for the plugin, and all the help earlier.
