Summer wouldn't be too bad.I'm not experienced enough with this community to know how fast development goes. Clearly not "ChromeFast" ;) But progress is good. I am patient! erland;606203 Wrote: > > Good choice, the only reason to use a NAS is if you have extremely high > storage requirements. I bought the NAS to kill 2 birds with one stone. Nowhere on the product literature page does it say "barely runs SBS"!! Found that out AFTER I invested money. It's still nice to have for offline data storage and backup, but I hate the idea that I'd have to run a separate server as well. I could run my computer all the time but I hate the idea of it pulling >150W just to power a music server. erland;606203 Wrote: > > Unfortunately, music discovery has never been a priority for neither > Slim Devices nor Logitech, I've personally realized that if I want > enhanced music discovery I need to do it myself. Now, this makes NO sense to me. If not for having a nice interface to access your music, assuming the software can PLAY the music once found, what's the point? Winamp's interface has it nailed pretty well for me. Not perfect, but I can create custom views easily enough and it lets me have a 2 or 3 tier selection process.
