Yeah, this confused me too. Apparently it's a secret of the Perl universe :-) The trick is: The .par file is just a ZIP archive with the name changed. Change the name from .par to .zip, and extract / replace the module(s) you need. Change the name back to .par when you're done. Pretty funny, huh?
