I tried the latest 7.5.4 - r31965 and still no player specific menus in iPeng.
I then went back and downgraded to the 7.5.3 stable release and everything is back to normal in iPeng which I think confirms as suspected that it is likely as a result of some change on SBS. I guess I am surprised that more people have not noticed this issue.
