On the web interface or on the Logitech device display? There's an option to show the year when doing searches by album (under server settings, interface) but when I turn it on I don't see it in either case on any device or the web interface (I'm using the ClassicCB and FishboneCB skins). I don't know why. You could try it for yourself.
Personally I'm not too bothered since most of the time I look at the track information (including the year) once I'm playing (using + on the remote, or clicking on the track using the web interface), rather than the whole album. My recording of Argerich's Chopin Preludes includes recordings of other items from other years, since I use the year of recording rather than release of the album (not least because the same recording can appear again on a different album and I want to know about the performance).
