Are you using the context menu to play the album? Usually iPeng should - Whenever you play a whole album, e.g. through the context menu on a list of albums, keep the "Shuffle" setting - Whenever you play an album by hitting a track in an album's track list _turn off_ shuffle and play the album straight - Whenever you hit "Play Shuffled" turn _on_ shuffle and play the album shuffled.
