I ran SC with network.asynchttp debugging enabled (screen capture attached). Interestingly the Spotifyd.exe crashed each time I ran it in debug mode. I'm running Windows 7 and disabled Windows Firewall. I also disabled Net Nanny since I know that hijacks HTTP connections too.
