I have read somewhere that perhaps some Microsoft clients (e.g. the XBox) will not accept a server whose DDD does not contain the word "microsoft" in it's name. (UPnP is an open standard so go figure that one out...) You could perhaps test this by changing the name of your library in SC to something including "microsoft", and then doing a restart. An alternative possible reason is that the current DDD contains some extensions for DLNA and -- believe it or not -- for Microsoft, that are allowed according to the UPnP specs, but perhaps unexpected by the WMP client. So I will also prepare and send you some test versions that selectively eliminate these extensions one-by-one. That will hopefully allow us to get this thing working. (However, it may mean that other clients that expect those extensions will now not work...)
