Thanks for your quick answer, but no matter how often I reboot (or
reinstall SBS) there always seem to be a couple of processes (sometimes
two, sometimes three) - they all refer to the same pidfile, which
contains the number of the first process.

If this isn't the default or regular behaviour, do you (or anyone else)
have an idea why these multiple processes occur?

On a side note: I installed SBS 7.5.4 on my Macbook Pro and installed
your plugin with no problems whatsoever! :) So, I'm able to use Spotify
on my Squeezebox now (yay!), but it'd be great to get it running on the
NAS, too.
