I too was using Audiogalaxy for remote access to my music. Well at least prior to setting up the Squeezebox Server. Now I am (trying to) use(ing) Subsonic to access my music remotely or I am using Squeeze Player and Squeeze Commander on Anroid to create a remote squeezebox player and I have (with the exception of my work location) a perfect remote music option (plus I can control the music at home and freak everyone out).
So Subsonic for my friends and remote access through Squeeze Player for me.
